Look no further as we have a jaw dropping and exciting opportunity for a experienced and highly talented Chef De Partie/Sous Chef to join our organisation in a prestigious location. 

The successful candidate will assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food, presenting to the highest standards in a clean, tidy, safe and pleasant environment. You will also assist in the smooth running of kitchen with direction from more senior members of the kitchen brigade.

Chef De Partie/Sous Chef 

40 hours per week paying an incredible salary between £11.00 - £14.00 for the right candidate

Working hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm with flexibility available 

We're offering an incredible 20 days holiday including bank holidays 

Main responsibilities

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing full breakfast
  • Providing full lunch 
  • To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures
  • To carry out the directions of more senior members of the kitchen brigade, ensuring that you coordinate the efforts of more junior members
  • To ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures
  • To ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and quality
  • To ensure food is served promptly and work is carried out quickly and efficiently to keep up when busy
  • To ensure all food sent out is correctly garnished
  • To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid wastage and keep down costs

This is your time to shine! You will be provided with on site training, catering for high end hospitality and VIP events, where you will deliver excellent customer service. 

There is also scope for joining apprenticeships to learn and develop new skills, which is always an exciting opportunity! 

Ideal candidate

We're looking for someone who has the following qualities: 

  • Good interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to spot new and innovative ways to produce food solutions to our customers
  • Bubbly
  • Has a warm and friendly approach 
  • Provides a can do attitude and hands on approach

Essential:

  • Good people skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Passion about food and customer service
  • Experience in a similar environment

Desirable:

  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • High standards and quality driven 
  • City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ equivalent
