01868 - HEAD CHEF - LYNDHURST- £42,000 pa
Bond Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Head Chef This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market with in the catering industry.
The company: The site is comprised of two kitchens which cater to approximately 60 weddings a year and serves up to 400 covers a day in the pub during the summer months.

The role and responsibilities:
º To deliver the food development/vision to the company's brand standards
º Menu strategy, development & implementation.
º Financially delivering (sales growth & GP's)
º Developing & training our Kitchen team - (Chefs all levels from KP)
º Innovation & implementation of new dishes & techniques
º Implement the fundamentals of kitchen practice and guide the team appropriately
º Develop seasonal offer with all sites/using fresh ingredients/ provenance where possible.
º Have monthly / quarterly chef's meeting / with points & actions to discuss with group executive chef
º Kitchen audit
º Training on new dishes
º Report to Our general manager on a day to day basis
º Support from our Group Executive Chef who wishes to appoint, develop and support.
º Responsibility is broad to deliver what is required by the Company, to keep the food offer relevant, to drive sales and margins and maintain high standards and quality.
º The key is for you to manage and inspire the strong team over 2 kitchens.

Personal specification:

It is essential that all applicants hold multi outlet events experience.
º An enthusiastic, dynamic and qualified Head Chef who is ready to make this change.
º Someone with a practical approach who will always enjoy getting 'hands on' in the kitchen, working alongside the Team
º Depth and breadth of Food Knowledge
º Proven track record of running professional kitchens that deliver "spot on" and consistent food from fresh ingredients with changing menus.
º An ability to take people with you - good interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
º A passion for training and developing the kitchen teams.
º Strong Organisational, time management, analytical and numerical ability.
º Capability to interact with Senior Management and bring thought through plans and proposals to the table.
