Amazing full time and permanent Chef de Partie opportunity with competitive basic salary (tips which are included in the hourly rate of £10.78 per hour), working in a branded restaurant in Winchester.
You will work for a well-known branded restaurant with an emphasis on fresh food.
Each day will be an exciting but busy experience, so if you are looking for a run of the mill 9-5, Monday to Friday frozen or microwave meal type of environment then this is not for you.
The Company is seeking a dedicated and well-trained professional who is willing to push themselves through development and training, so they can improve their Chef skills, cooking techniques and their guest’s culinary experience.
Key Features of the Role:
As a full time permanent Chef de Partie with this branded company you will be constantly developing and improving on your technical skills as well as your food knowledge and execution.
You will work as part of an established team delivering fresh and locally sourced menu items, all prepared and cooked fresh to order, in an excellent location based in Winchester.
You will be working a standard 5 day working week, full time hours which could vary slightly depending on splits or straight shifts.
You will take direction from the Head Chef and Sous Chef, working as part of the brigade structure, where roles are defined, and each Chef is in charge, or in control of a set station or stations, and you may potentially be supervising other Chefs lower down the brigade structure.

Knowledge and Skills:
You will have a current fresh food Chef background and experience at either a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef level.
You must have currently or recently worked in a branded restaurant kitchen.
You must be excited to carry out your own food prep, cooking from scratch and flexible enough to use locally sourced ingredients for changing menu dishes.
You must be emotionally robust to handle the pressure of consistently delivering top quality dishes for a table of two or to large groups, as well as being able to effectively communicate in a professional and civilized manner to all other employees.
