We are looking to recruit a full time General Manager for our amazing, privately owned Italian restaurant and bar in Hertfordshire.

Our restaurant is very well established, having been trading for over 20 years. Our loyal customers often comment on the extensive menu selection, which is complemented by traditional Italian side dishes. You are truly spoilt for choice!

Now, about the position;

We are looking for a passionate, initiative and hard working General Manager to join our fantastic team and to work alongside with our Assistant Manager and Director.

As well as running busy lunches & dinners, you will also get involved in-

  • Staff training and incentives
  • Quality and stock control
  • General back office duties and paperwork.
  • You will also work closely with our Marketing manager to put together and implement our events calendar and direct marketing campaigns.

We want a person who inspires people around them with great customer service skills who will look after our loyal clientele and staff members. Our restaurant is based in a very tight community, so getting to know the locals is a given.

Our Director is very passionate and driven so you will have many opportunities to be creative and help our restaurant progress and strive forward.

You will work approximately 45 hours per week. Hospitality experience is essential for this role and with 1 years minimum management experience.

Salary being offered is between £22 - 25K depending on experience, plus tips of approx £100-£150 per week, giving approx £30,000 per annum.

First aid and Fire Safety training is preferred.

Alcohol licence is preferred.
