Reporting in to the Senior Client Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to quickly and thoroughly understand our clients’ needs. You will deliver business proposals that support these requirements and further our strategic intent to be the biggest food procurement provider in Europe by 2020. You will be required to interact and engage with clients about their procurement activity, to fulfil their needs whilst ensuring delivery of the centrally agreed category strategies. To succeed in this, you will work collaboratively with your Foodbuy colleagues to ensure best practice is being shared and followed.Ideal candidate
With a passion for food, service and delivering results, you will have previously worked within an account management or business development role where you have demonstrated the ability to develop accounts, generate new business and build strong and lasting relationships. Experience of managing clients within the food industry and/or public sector, ideally the NHS, would be advantageous though not a prerequisite. You will demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally with the knowledge and gravitas to influence, engage and challenge internal and external stakeholders. An understanding of buying and the food supply chain would be great but this is not essential.
