This role works towards providing a range of product level analysis, reporting and decision support for both new business and existing clients, and to assist with the management of the product cost base and supplier pricing infrastructure. You would be providing a range of periodic analytical reporting based on client specific weighted product shopping baskets, information requirements and feedback, including presentation to the respective client Account Directors. You would support a range of monthly and quarterly supplier cost reviews, incorporating the analysis, review and approval by product category with the respective Category Managers. Obtaining internal pricing information to then provide individual, line level benchmark analysis for prospective new clients, or new volume with existing clients, including producing matched product level analysis and incorporating both pricing and rebate analysis.Ideal candidate
For us to be right for you and for you to be right for us will need to be someone with highly developed numeric and analytical skills with a sound knowledge of food products. You should be able to analyse and evaluate large volumes of information from multiple sources, work with advanced spreadsheets and data modelling, and with an ability to question and communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, engage and present at all levels.
