We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Site Services Coordinator to work with the Support Service Manager and the Supervisory Team to ensure  the efficient operation of all Soft FM services including domestic, catering, security and portering departments with addition of grounds maintenance, pest control and window cleaning.

This involves liaising closely with ward staff (NHS) to ensure that the service is meeting their requirements and constantly looking for ways to improve the service.

Main responsibilities

Ensuring that a high standard of customer service is a priory, whilst understanding the importance of efficient use of resources.

Responsible for assisting with policy and proposals for change in Support Services.

Ensures that equipment is in good working order and that staff use it correctly.

To Supervise the day-to-day operation of Support Services including responsibility for rectification, training, absence management and HR related investigations in line with company policies and procedures.

Monitors and maintains systems/processes in relation to Support Services.

Undertakes surveys or audits where necessary.

To ensure that confidentiality is observed at all times and that matters relating to duties undertaken or information received during the course of duties remains confidential.

Ideal candidate

Good Communication skills

Ability to explain technical issues to staff, to assess staff training requirements and to provide advice, instruction and training.

To possess knowledge of cleaning techniques through experience and training.

Good team leadership/supervisory skills and an understanding of the different roles and skills to team members.

Ability to organise the day-to-day work of both Domestic, Security and Portering services team adjust as necessary unplanned absences.
