In mid 2019, Quest’s first UK based location will be established with the opening of Quest Liverpool City Centre. The hotel is a 100 room serviced apartment hotel targeted at the extended stay business traveller, and located in close proximity to Liverpool’s biggest retail strips and adjacent to the landmark Liverpool ONE complex.
We are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager to open, manage and grow the business through the application of Quests business format franchise model.
The Property Manager will manage all operational areas of the property, including business development, business planning, front office, revenue & distribution management, maintenance, human resources, IT, finance and leasing.
With Quest Liverpool City Centre set to open in July/August 2019, you will spend time at our global headquarters in Melbourne Australia to understand the business format franchise model and Quests operational systems and take the lead on various pre opening projects, including recruitment of team members to fill the organisational structure of the property.
The ideal candidate
You will be a relationship focused person with a strong commercial understanding, a results oriented manager with the confidence and presence to connect with and inspire your team. You will possess first rate communication and influencing skills whilst not being afraid to be hands-on as the needs require.
- Previous experience as a Hotel/Property Manager at a 4 star level or above;
- Proven ability to set strategic goals and demonstrated achievement of these;
- Service and quality focus with the passion to deliver outstanding guest experience;
- Ability to grow the business and maximise key business relationships;
- Drive to create a supportive culture to lead, motivate and develop your team;
- High level interpersonal and communication skills;
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills;
- High degree of professionalism; and
- Demonstrated financial management experience.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong skills in promoting and selling accommodation services and facilities, have exceptional time management skills and have the capabilities to manage several operational components of running a busy serviced apartment hotel, with customer service at the forefront of all activities.
Previous general management experience in the accommodation industry is essential.
