We have a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Head of Sales. This senior sales position is responsible for the performance of the conference and events (C&E) sales team and the growth of C&E business at Leicester City Football Club (LCFC).

Main responsibilities

A key part of the role will be to develop new and existing relationships with C&E clients, especially those from corporate clients in the East Midlands & National Booking Agencies. As such, the person fulfilling this role will already have a strong background in Business Development & existing client relationships within the UK C&E market, and a strong local knowledge of Leicester & the Midlands.

The Head of C&E Sales will play a key role in the development of LCFC’s sales and marketing materials and manage awareness and participation in industry networking events and exhibitions.

The Head of C&E Sales will be responsible for directly managing the Sales Office Manager who is responsible for the production of key financial reports and forecasting, along with the day to day management of re-active team of 3 Sales Co-ordinators on a day to day basis. You will also directly manage the Proactive Sales Executive, together driving new business into the venue.

What we are looking for?

You will have extensive sales and marketing experience within the UK conference and event industry with a proven track record of meeting sales targets. Be experienced in performance managing teams to achieve KPIs, producing sales plans and targets, and developing business strategy to achieve growth expectations. Have a vast knowledge of the Midlands corporate market & an existing network of contacts. You will be an ambassador for Levy UK and to show a drive & enthusiasm for achieving excellent  standards of C&E food and delivery as part of the senior team
