The Royal Oak is currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
Candidates will have a proven track record at a working at a high level and have all the relevant skills required of a Sous Chef. These will include; HACCAP procedures, financials including dish costing and a passion for food and the industry.
A steady, strong and professional personality is key, along with great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
As Sous Chef you will help the Head Chef manage the day to day operation of the kitchen whilst supervising and developing the kitchen team. You will ensure the highest standards of food preparation and delivery, as well as effective communication across all sections of the kitchen.
In addition, as Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in menu development and creation ensuring seasonality of ingredients.
