Senior Sous Chef - 45 hours per week, £29,500 per annum plus staff benefits
The Lowry is an internationally acclaimed cultural landmark situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to assist the Executive Head Chef in the management of all kitchen areas to meet the daily requirements of all Lowry guests, with specific leadership on conference and event catering.
This role will require you to cook, prepare and serve food for all areas of the Hospitality Department, including the restaurant, bar and conferences & events at The Lowry. You will assume responsibility for all food delivery within the Conference and Events operation and assume responsibility for the entire kitchen in the absence of the Executive Head Chef.
The ideal candidate will have a high standard of professional cooking and a commitment to excellent customer care. Knowledge of cost control, menu design and stock procurement is essential. Experience in the delivery of high quality, large scale banqueting is desirable.
