We have a great opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Catering Manager to assist the general Manager in running the daily catering operation at Goldsmiths University. Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team.
Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with great service. We are seeking someone that has experience working in a high volume environment, preferably have managed a multi-unit site.
Package descriptionSalary up to £31.5k
Mainly Mon - Fri, 40 hour per week, will need to be flexible as we cater for some functions on weekends

Main responsibilities- Support with all the financial aspects of the business
- Overseeing the front of house, making sure that we offer the best service and quality of food for our students and client
- Training, keeping all personal/training files up to date
- Motivating staff and getting the best out of your team
- Build an excellent relationship with the client
- Adhering the H&S regulations
- Fully responsible for the P&L accounts
- Will also be responsible for the hospitality side of the business
- Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation
- Experience in managing a large site, preferably from an education sector or sport and leisure, but not essential
- Have experience managing a multi site unit
- Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety
- Standards and quality driven management style
- Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
- Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent understanding of P&L accounts
- Strong leader
- Good management skills
- Financial and commercial acumen
