Look no further as we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, multi-talented and highly skilled Porter/Driver who can handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service. 

Based in Rugby school, this role is 40hrs per week working 5 over 7, as directed by the Events Manager. The role is all year round and may include the odd split shift. Working Patterns to be agreed in advance.

The appointment will be conditional on a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, and the person appointed will be required to work in accordance with the schools policy with child protection.

Main responsibilities

The successful Porter/Driver will undertake the following duties:

    Transport, load/pack and deliver goods around the school, for the catering department. Ensure you are aware of, and comply with all client and company health and safety procedures, and ensure standards at all times. Maintain the cleanliness of all displays, counters and seating areas, ensuring Health and Safety hazards, issues, near misses and accidents are reported using the appropriate reporting procedures. To demonstrate excellent knowledge of all products provided to customers and clients. To prepare and serve food and beverage to the brand standards. Set up catering functions. Deliver, set up and serve Sports Teas Clean all work areas during and after use and remove all waste to the appropriate area Develop good lines of communications and relationships at all levels within your team and with other colleagues and customers
