An exciting role at the stunning venue with lots of opportunity for progression and development!Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Chef the Hospitality Sous Chef will be responsible for leading and delivering the events on site. The candidate will be expected to keep the kitchen up to standard from a HSE perspective taking charge of the relevant paperwork supplied and checked by executive chef.
- You will support the Head Chef with the planning, organising and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the company’s reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients at all times
- Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
- Possess an exceptional drive for quality for Hospitality events
- Driving sales through centrally driven menu planning and promotions and preferred suppliers
- Responsible for all aspects of food safety, HS and COSHH
- Excellent and Innovative culinary and presentation skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Sound HACCP knowledge
- Ability to work under pressure, in this high volume events environment.
