We have an opening for a Catering Manager, to join us at one of our contracts based at RAF Wittering.

Main responsibilities

As our Catering Manager, you will lead and manage a team across multiple catering units to deliver excellent food quality and customer service to our clients, whilst ensuring all contractual, legislative and Compass standards are met and maintained.

Responsible for developing trusted working relationship with clients through regular communication, providing accurate and timely periodic reports and acting with gravitas at meetings.

You will be a friendly and approachable and have passion for providing customer service excellence. Be a team motivator who manages their team to be passionate about what they do, ensuring each customer has a positive experience. You will be innovative and have the ability to forward plan.

Ideal candidate

What we would be looking for in applications:

  • Good knowledge and experience of working in a contracted catering environments
  • Proven commercial background including the management of profit and loss accounts
  • Ability to work under strict budgets and controls
  • Experience in implementing change and managing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Experience in leading and developing a team to deliver excellent service
  • Previous knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and experience of placing into practice
