Job DescriptionBanqueting & Events Manager 4* 2 Rosette Hotel

This busy 35 bedroom hotel is a fast paced environment which in addition to the Bar, Brasserie & Restaurant also caters for up to approximately 70 weddings a year plus private events of up to 100 people.

The Banqueting & Events Manager will be leading a strong and well trained team.

Reporting to the General Manager the Banqueting & Events Manager will work alongside the Wedding & Events Coordinator. This is a customer facing, hands on role which includes events co-ordination, bookings, show rounds, assisting with room set up and all function services.

As Banqueting & Events Manager, Duty Management training will be given and you will be fully responsible for the hotel in some instances.

You will need to have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Able to manage both the administration & floor based aspects the role requires
  • Excellent motivational and engagement skills
  • Able to quickly build rapport and relationships
  • Strong communication and English language skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
