Job DescriptionWedding & Events Coordinator - 3 star 1 Rosette Hotel in Stroud

This busy 44 bedroom, 3* Hotel, including a Bar, Outdoor Pavilion area with a Bar and a One Rosette Restaurant . The Hotel has approximately 40-50 weddings per year, they see this as a key area for potential growth within the hotel and are keen to have someone on-board who proactively shares ideas and concepts to keep our offering fresh.

Working alone, the Wedding Co-ordinator deals with all initial enquiries, show rounds, quotations, bookings and client meetings. You will be required to be available on the day of the wedding itself, however will only be involved in the Civil Ceremony. The Events Team will take over the running of the event for the remainder of the day.

For this Wedding & Events Coordinator role the salary is £21,500.00 per annum plus unlimited bonus potential.

Depending on sales performance a quarterly and annually paid bonus scheme is based on revenue compared to budget for business that has taken place during that period and based on the amount of business contracted in that period for future bookings. Naturally producing Sales Reports and records of enquiries is also required.

You will manage your own diary based around the clients/business needs. This will involve working weekends but only up to the ceremony then the events team will take over .
