I am currently recruiting for an experienced sous chef to work alongside a very well-established Head Chef in a South Oxfordshire Village location. As sous chef here you would be ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic to help the venue develop into a high-end catering venue.
The sous chef appointed for this role in South Oxfordshire would ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a sous and some experience of large event catering also.
Some of your responsibilities as sous chef at this idyllic venue would be;
- Assist in the preparation, design and costings of all menus
- Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets required standards
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedules, and assess staff's performance
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
