Sales Manager - Quest Liverpool City Centre

In mid 2019, Quest’s first UK based location will be established with the opening of Quest Liverpool City Centre (QLCC). The hotel is a 100 room apartment hotel targeted at the extended stay business & transient leisure traveller, and located on one of Liverpool’s biggest retail streets and adjacent to the landmark Liverpool ONE complex.
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to generate and increase sales revenue for the property.
This key selling role involves identifying, attracting and maintaining corporate clients at the community / local area level. In particular, you will:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for QLCC
- Engage with a well-established client base to promote QLCC
- Develop new sales contacts and leads to increase the corporate footprint for QLCC
- Conduct property show rounds and property familiarisations
- Work with the front office reception teams to ensure the realisation of sales opportunities and the development of sales capabilities
- Attend networking functions and events
- Produce regular sales opportunity pipeline reporting.
Your activities on the ground will be supported with strategic guidance and tools remotely from our global corporate office in Melbourne, Australia.
The Ideal Candidate
Will be a self-motivated, sales focused individual, who has a passion for developing and nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients.
You will display strong commerciality in your approach to account management, enthusiasm for selling and networking, strong time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and a friendly, mature approach to your work.
A minimum of two years working in a proactive sales role from either a hotel or apart hotel environment from within the Liverpool market.
