We have an opportunity for a talented Assistant Manager to join the team at our Costa Coffee unit based in Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle

The Royal Victoria Infirmary is a 673-bed tertiary referral centre in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The hospital is part of the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is a teaching hospital for the University of Newcastle upon Tyne

You support the general manager in running the store efficiently and effectively and to deputise for the Store Manager in their absence and to be a brand ambassador.

To ensure the store is opened and closed, adhering to all Costa standards, policies & procedures, ensuring that all brand standards are delivered throughout the shift to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Completing all relevant COSTA check, standards, food & health and safety checks.

Ideal candidate

The type of applications that we would be interested in seeing, is individuals that ideally have a proven track record of delivering profitable sales success within a retail food environment, ideally a coffee related operation, but open to see candidates that have a demonstrable customer service experience.

Detailed experience in the mentoring and development of their staff, achieving consistent high audits outcome, profit protection, labour management and GP. Excellent interpersonal capability
