Job Description

Jnr Sous Chef 4* 1 Rosette - Hotel, GL7, Gloucestershire

We are looking for an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen Team at our 4* hotel in Gloucestershire.

This small but busy hotel, with popular bar (30c), courtyard (80c) and 1 Rosette brasserie (70c) welcomes residents and lots of visitors to the village alike.

It is a busy, fast paced environment which is seeing a steady increase in levels of business.

The Hotel also hosts approximately 45 weddings a year along with other events but has the benefit of a separate function kitchen.

The Sous Chef will join a brigade of friendly professional Chefs and I need someone with passion, flair and an eye for detail. You will be overseeing a team of CDPs along with having a hand in ordering and food safety management within the kitchen.

There are two distinct styles of food being served.

  • Bar food served at lunch in the bar - classic comfort favourites served in a smart way.
  • The Brasserie caters for a more polished dining experience to a rosette standard.

You should be capable and confident within any section of the kitchen.
