Hospitality and VM Supervisor

We are looking to hire an Experienced  Hospitality & VM Supervisor.

Main responsibilities
  • Raise requisitions for supplies, ensuring issue and storage procedures are followed with minimal waste
  • Weekly stock taking and food rotation ensuring the timely use of commodities and cost effectiveness
  • Assist in the co-ordinating of the entire operation of the Hospitality areas during scheduled shifts.
  • Managing daily staff and providing them with feedback.
  • Responding and handling customer complaints.
  • Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards.
  • Training and motivating staff.
  • Organising and supervising the shifts of the hospitality staff
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care at all times
  • To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
  • To acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise individual customers on their product choice
Ideal candidate
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant role
  • Excellent people skills, able to motivate, lead and develop a team
  • Have a passion about food and excellent customer service
  • Knowledge about products, promotions and sales
  • Sound awareness of health, safety and food safety legislation
  • High standards and be quality driven
  • Interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Be able to address and resolve customer complaints
  • An eye for detail
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
