An exciting key role within a team of eight; responsible An opportunity to take ownerships of the vision and plans to proactively develop this important market within the business.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in event sales and marketing
  • A personable and friendly approach
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
  • Experience in diary management system Rendezvous (or similar)
  • Is proactive, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure


The role:

  • Be proactive in dealing with all incoming enquiries to ensure that they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
  • Innovate and create new theming and entertainment ideas for event packages and manage the relationships with preferred and new upcoming suppliers
  • Lead on Christmas and Summer marketing projects with the Marketing Manager
  • Proactively seek new business for Christmas and Summer parties
  • Lead on external Christmas and Summer website listings and agency relationships
  • Attend client events, promotions, trade exhibitions, client entertainment evenings and sales events as required
  • Maximise food and beverage sales generation through effective implementation of marketing plans
  • Evaluate event package costs, profit and loss, GP’s and budgets
    Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned key account management
  • Analyse and report on market and competitor activities; provide relevant reports and feedback
  • Referral of business across the CH&CO Venues
