Properly clean and set meeting rooms and banquet functions per specifications on resume and BEOs or as given by management including table, chair, linen and food service setup. Maintain organization and cleanliness of all meeting space rooms, equipment and storage space by cleaning, organizing, sanitizing and vacuuming if need be. Service meeting rooms by emptying trash, removing recycling, dirty plates, cups, linens and glasses, and replace as necessary. Straighten all chairs. Replenish water requirements as specified or requested. Maintain storage areas and ensure cleanliness and organization. Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times. Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times Provide courteous and professional service at all times. Proper care, movement, storage of all equipment such as tables, chairs, risers, dance floors and lecterns as required.Upon customer request, locate and deliver convention material to designated location. Perform other duties as requested, such as moving furniture in and about the venue.
Quickly and efficiently retrieves all materials needed for setup of banquet facilities, including those events outside of normal convention space. Ability to work independently with high sense of initiative Strong interpersonal skills Attention to Detail Ability to lift, carry, move large and heavy items on a regular basis, ie. Minimum of 50 lbs without difficulty Able to work early mornings, late nights and weekends Provides prompt, courteous service to banquet guests while maintaining a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in all banquet service areas and for all banquet service equipment. Follows company standards of hospitality by making eye contact with every guest, smiling and offering a warm and friendly greeting with the proper verbiage: “Good Morning, afternoon, or evening, thank you, ma’am or sir, may I? Provides exceptional service that differentiates us from the competition. Demonstrate full knowledge of banquet areas and keep banquet service areas properly stocked and cleaned. Performs side work and other cleaning and organizing. Maintains a clean and well-groomed appearance in compliance with departmental and company dress code standards. Performs related works as requested.
