Catering Manager - Gamecock Barracks

The barracks were established, on the site of the former RAF Bramcote airbase, in 1959: it was called after HMS Gamecock, the name of the naval unit based at the site before the British Army took it over
As our Catering Manager will be responsible for the feeding of around 400 servicemen across the three military messes (Junior, Officers & Senior ranks) Duties will also include menu planning, placing food deliveries, stock management, HACCP, rostering for both front and back of house staff, accounting and driving the retail food offer, whilst also maintaining the contractual compliance with the core meal offer.
The Catering Manager will have a Head Chef and a team of around 10 staff to manage and support.

- Managing teams to deliver innovative, high quality food and beverage offers that compete with the high street
- Delivering customer service standards that match or exceed best in class on the high street
- Being obsessive about providing great customer service and food in both the mess and hospitality environment
