Haileybury is an outstanding British independent co-educational boarding school, offering modern boarding and day provision for eight hundred boys and girls aged 11-18.  Established in 1862, we are situated on a glorious, historic 500-acre campus in Hertfordshire, just 20 miles north of London and 35 miles south of Cambridge, with an extensive portfolio of properties and grounds, including buildings with listed buildings status and approximately 120 residential properties.

The Events Manager will play a key role in the success of Haileybury and will ensure Haileybury events are delivered in a professional, cost-effective and efficient manner in accordance with the College’s overall marketing objectives to maximise positive brand awareness and influence prospective parents and pupils to consider Haileybury as a potential senior school option. The Events Manager must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.

The successful candidate will have a love for special event management and providing outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers. It is expected that the successful candidate will have a strong educational background, at least three years’ experience running events, experience in a customer-facing role, knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous experience of working with events management software would be an advantage.

For an informal discussion, please contact Mrs Michele Metcalfe, Registrar on 01992 706227.
