We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Officer for our Medirest sector of the business. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and experienced Training professionals.



You will be providing comprehensive support to the management team within the Soft FM Services Department in relation to training and development of all Soft FM Services Staff.



The main aim of the role is to support the provision of legendary experiences to our guests through the design and implementation of training initiatives. The successful candidate will train and up skill individuals in the business to ensure high standards are being achieved and service results are improved.

Main responsibilities

The role of Training Officer is to act as a “link trainer” with the client and deliver the training that is required. Co-ordinating the training needs of Soft FM Services staff in conjunction with line managers and drawing up annual training programmes for each department. Liaising with the recruitment team to ensure new entrants are inducted into the business and manage the client requirements for mandatory training. Devising any bespoke training for the different services and rolling out incentives such as dementia training, profit protection and H & S bespoke training.


Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the service industry, working directly with staff. A team leader who is able to motivate and communicate with the team.  Having experience of dealing with employees and delivering and facilitating training is essential. If you are enthusiastic, initiative, assertive, energetic, organised, open-minded and a good communicator then this could be the perfect role for you. You must be flexible to meet the needs of the business with a driving licence and car as you will occasionally be staying away for meetings/courses etc.
