We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Manager to join our team. The primary purpose of this role is to lead the team to deliver all catering and hospitality operations across our client’s portfolio of 5 sites based in North London. You will be required to cover any of the Chef’s when they are away on annual leave or absent.


Package description

  • £30,000 Per Annum

  • Monday to Friday – 40 Hours per week

Main responsibilities

  • Develop strategic and operational plans for the client’s needs, managing execution and measuring results

  • To carry out routine inspections and audits of the regional sites and ensure that all levels of the Support Services are maintained to a high standard and maintained at all times

  • To advocate and follow agreed policies and procedures and provide your teams follow suit

  • Drive cutting-edge solutions and innovative behaviour

  • To perform any administrative duties required within the operation

  • To use your initiative to ensure you can identify where you need to change your activities to meet different circumstances

  • Consistently develop the customer experience and understand customer requirements

  • Encourage and inspire teams to achieve targets and enhance performance which drives results

  • Conduct regular performance reviews to set objectives and provide coaching and support to deliver results

  • Identify and proactively support the development of talented individuals to support area succession plans

  • To perform any other reasonable duties as required by the business


Ideal candidate

  • A natural leader who has the ability to coach, develop and mentor their people

  • Listen to and understand the needs of the client and adapt our service offering

  • Experience in managing budgets and delivering operational goals

  • Innovation and passionate in the way you develop and provide commercial values in your region and the client's expectations

  • Will be on call so flexibility required and will also be required to stay away from home as and when required

  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive can-do attitude
