We are currently seeking to recruit a General Manager to head up our food led, Scottish boutique Hotel operation.

You will have a passion and knowledge of fine food and wine and will be the front to a new fine dining operation. The Royal has enjoyed a rossette for some 19 years, but this is the next step forward and we are also recruiting a talented head chef to achieve this.

You will be a very hands on manager, in particular being a very visible host with responsibility for motivating your team to excel in customer care and experience.

You will also oversee a vibrant food led modern bar/ bistro operation.

Management partners will offer guidance and assist with overall business and marketing strategy, but strong organisational and administrative skills will be essential along with a keen commercial awareness, and proven track record of the requirements for success in Hotel

operations.

A unique and exciting opportunity to manage an old established, award winning 18th century coaching inn located at the gateway to the Highland.

The Royal Hotel is situated in the picturesque village of Comrie, Perthshire, one of Scotland’s most desirable villages.

An established three star, F&B led business, with eleven bedrooms The Royal is currently undergoing a refurbishment.

You will be implementing the business strategy that will take The Royal to the next stage of its development, we have some exciting times ahead.

You will use your knowledge, experience and skills to establish a great reputation for an exceptional dining experience and drive sales for this small boutique Hotel in a challenging marketplace

Our ideal candidate will:

Have a passion for great food and wine, excelling in client satisfaction and exceeding guest expectations.

Demonstrate clear achievement of measurable results in terms of occupancy, revPar and profitability

Have experience in operating an independent or boutique Hotel, with a proven record for delivering success in an F&B orientated business

Be a team leader with a history of motivating, training and engaging their team, with a hands on approach to customer care and guest experience

We offer an attractive remuneration package depending upon experience of up to £40,000 to include salary, accommodation & bonus.
