·To ensure that all sales enquiries are dealt with in a proactive manner, and converted to confirmed bookings, to the agreed company core standards using the company Sales conversation techniques.
·To ensure that all reservation enquiries are handled in a professional and timely fashion with attention to detail and engage with the guest in a friendly and positive manner in order to build long term relationships.
·Maximise sales opportunities through up-selling, cross selling and achieving add-on sales
·Understanding the business and keeping up to date with hotel’s sales selling strategy and letting policy and promotions.
·Promote packages and promotions to the clients for whom you manage reservations as well as promote / communicate internally to ensure all staff are fully aware
·Have a full understanding of hotel amenities and services and confidently communicate this to your clients.
·To ensure that all reservations are directly inputted onto the Rezlynx computer system, and maintenance of an accurate filling system.
·To ensure that all VIP guests are flagged appropriately in Rezlynx, and that all additional requirements have been actioned, in order to ensure good customer relations and establish future business opportunities.
·To ensure that a professional manner, is shown to all customers, resulting in positive PR both internally and externally.
·All appropriate departments are to be informed of any guest special requirements/needs.
·To assist group and M&E reservations when necessary.
