We currently have an exciting opportunity for talented Catering Assistant. You will join the highly motivated Medirest team, who deliver outstanding customer service to patients and visitors within Southend University Hospital.



Please note core working hours are Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm on a 20 hour permanent contract

Main responsibilities

Our Ward Catering Assistant work individually on patient wards serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in a busy, fast paced environment.



Taking patients orders through the ipad, checking dietary needs, food temperature before serving, You will ensure your kitchen/working station is clean at all times, washing up and putting away all cutlery. 



You will be working towards a very tight schedule ability to work under pressure and time management is imperative. This role will suit a caring, compassionate person who has excellent organisational skills.
